AI-assisted, human-directed
Our timelines are drafted with the assistance of AI research and writing tools, working from publicly available sources such as news reports, official announcements and reference material. Topic selection, review and publication decisions are made by our editor. We disclose this process on every article.
Sourcing
We compile dates, figures and events from multiple public sources and present them in chronological context. Where sources materially disagree, we prefer official or primary records. Our timelines are explainers, not original reporting, and we do not present them as first-hand journalism.
Accuracy and corrections
We aim for every date, name and figure to be accurate at the time of publication. Fast-moving stories can change after publication; articles show their last-updated date. If you spot an error, tell us via our Facebook page — verified corrections are made directly in the article.
Independence and monetisation
AI Timeline is independently owned. We may display advertising and, where clearly relevant, affiliate links; these never influence which topics we cover or what our timelines say. We do not publish paid or sponsored content presented as editorial.
